Lapland is a region rather than a country. It is located above the Artic Circle and is located in the Nothern part of Sweden, Finland and Russia.
The region is very cold and very dark during the winter with no more than 3 hours of daylight !
When you go there by car, you have the feeling that you are going to reach the end of the world ! Indeed, roads can be straight for ages !
If you are close to nature, this place is for you !
Lapland is also famous for dogsledge. It is really something to try, it gives you relly nice sensations !
